Core Circle

The inner stewarding team that holds the Temple’s container.

Core Circle members help cultivate the culture, maintain the practice spaces, and support gatherings. It’s less “rank” and more responsibility: service, steadiness, and care for the work.

What is the Core Circle?

Core Circle is the leadership and stewardship layer within Liminal Temple’s community structure.

Discord Role Structure:

Admin → Core Circle → CMSG Member → Member → Visitor

The Core Circle includes access to the Study Group spaces, but the Core Circle is not simply “more access”—it’s a commitment to help support the entire ecosystem.

What Core Circle Members Do

Core Circle members may:

  • Help host and facilitate practice labs and discussions
  • Welcome newcomers and support onboarding
  • Help uphold community agreements and tone
  • Co-create curriculum, prompts, and rituals
  • Assist with event logistics and Temple projects
  • Participate in periodic steward meetings (lightweight, practical)

Who This Is For

Core Circle is a good fit if you:

  • Have a stable relationship with practice (whatever your paradigm)
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully
  • Can hold confidentiality and consent as sacred
  • Want to build something lasting—culture, not clout
  • Prefer real work over status games

Core Circle is not a fit if you:

  • Want authority over others
  • Need constant validation
  • Can’t respect boundaries
  • Want to “win” metaphysics debates

Expectations (Clear + Realistic)

Time: usually 2–6 hours/month (varies by season)

Values: consent, integrity, humility, service

Tone: warm, grounded, playful when appropriate

Accountability: we correct issues early; we don’t let them fester

Benefits (What You Receive)

  • Deeper collaboration and co-creation opportunities
  • Access to steward channels and behind-the-scenes planning
  • Invitation to Core Circle-only gatherings (when offered)
  • A direct hand in shaping the Temple’s direction and standards
  • A steadier container for your own long-term work

How Selection Works

Core Circle is intentionally selective to protect the container.

Typical path:

  1. Participate as a CMSG Member
  2. Demonstrate consistency, respect, and good communication
  3. Apply / be invited
  4. Short conversation + mutual fit check
  5. Trial period (light responsibilities)
  6. Confirmed Core Circle role

Core Circle Agreement (Short Form)

  • I will act with care, confidentiality, and consent
  • I will de-escalate rather than dominate
  • I will name concerns early and directly
  • I will avoid coercion, manipulation, or “spiritual authority games”
  • I will help build culture through my behavior, not my opinions
